BandPage is the most used FaceBook app for musicians. The app allows musicians to play their music, publish gig dates, photos, videos and sell merch. BandPage announced on their blog and at SXSW that they hit the 500,000 user mark. This TechCrunch article highlights two other competitors; ReverbNation’s Facebook app and Tracks.by (currently in invite only mode). All three apps have slick interfaces and make sharing music on FB easy. BandPage seems to be the most complete app of the three as it covers just about everything a band’s personal webpage would cover in a single app and its been modified to conform to the new 810px by 360px dimensions of Facebook Timeline.
